Solo photo walk outings into near-to-home landscapes gave me plenty of time to ponder the future and reflect upon our once cherished and much taken for granted freedoms.

Not far from Toronto, Canada lies the City of Hamilton which is well known for its numerous (more than 100!) urban waterfalls and nature settings. Situated along the Niagara Escarpment, interesting topography and elevation changes make for beautiful features - such as this one - to enjoy.
The shorelines of Prince Edward County, Canada, are photo-worthy at any time of year. Winter is no exception, especially when enjoyed in fading light of day. In fact, the shore ice introduces an 'extra' layer of interest and beauty not found during any other season.
