An impossibly fantastic experience I will not forget, a scenic half-day ride between Switzerland northern Italy yielded view after amazing view of a picture-perfect landscapes.
Hiking one day only an hour's drive from my Toronto (Canada) area home, I came across this most peculiar stand of gnarly looking trees. It was early spring, so the cornfields in fallow didn't obstruct its disorganized character. I immediately saw the potential for an artistic, abstract series for this scene. My gallery collection showcases some of these unique and sometimes colorific renderings, all derived from this original 'base image'.
Winter sunsets are just incredible sometimes. Here, a dramatic interplay between fire and ice combining with a shadowy silhouette of a winter tree by a frozen lake. Creatively imagined during my editing workflow using a stylized brush stroke oil effect.
